Vital Signs Monitoring Based on Interferometric Fiber Optic Sensors

Due to the improvement of living standards, people’s attention health has gradually increased. More and more people are willing spend money time on management. This article reviews work vital signs monitoring system based fiber optic interferometers, including design sensor structures, signal demodulation methods data analysis. After a large number trials, can achieve long-term stable heart rate (HR), respiration (RR) body temperature monitoring, collected be used for high sensitivity, low cost, light weight interferometric sensor, it integrated under mattress or cushion, which is very suitable daily use. The great application prospects in field healthcare.
